To be a sponsor of Sketch Saturday you must agree to ship worldwide as every one of our challengers have a chance of winning your prize.
Here's what happens...
Usually a sponsor donates a small prize (such as a voucher, stamp or download)When it is your week, the challengers use that weeks sketch to make a card etc with the hope that they could win your prize :)As a thank you, we will add a permanent link to your website or blog onto the sponsor list in the sidebar of this blog, this will be added approx 4-6 weeks prior to your sponsored date, the reason being, we book our sponsors sometimes a year in advance, on a few occasions we have had last minute cancellations.
Understandably, we only promote our generous sponsors, so when the date is near and I get confirmation that you are still happy to proceed, that is when I add your logo, but once your logo is in our sidebar, it will never be removed.(maximum logo size 220 pixels wide please).
Please let me know of any special offers, new releases or just the latest news you will have at the time of sponsorship, Add links and photos to specific items if you can.I'll also need a photo and/or the details of the prize you will be offering too please. Thank you.
Free images...
We NEVER ask for free images, and it is not expected of you if you decide to sponsor Sketch Saturday. We are here to hopefully offer inspiration to other crafters and are not here to gain freebies.That said, there are occasions when we are offered images to use on our cards. Of course we are very grateful for the offer and wherever possible we will always try to use them, although sadly there will be times when we cannot, and it is not compulsory for the design team to do so.We are a sketch challenge blog, we are not linked to any company, our design team are free to use whatever images they wish.Some of the team who are on other DTs (especially those representing a company) may be asked by that DT to use one of their images on a certain week. When this is the case, our challenge is linked to another by that DT member, our sketch provides the layout, the other company provides the materials used.So although the offer of free images is very much appreciated, there will be times when we cannot accept those images, and we would never accept them if we were unable to use them, that wouldn't be fair to you or your company if we did.Choosing a winner...
At the end of each challenge, it's time to choose the winner, we use Mr Linky to store all the eligible challenge entries.Next, I use random.org to select a number and find out who the winner is by finding the corresponding number on the Mr Linky list.I leave a message for the winner to contact me with their postal or email details, which I then pass onto the sponsor for them to send out the prize!
PLEASE NOTE:
Our regular sponsors The Craft Barn, and Simon Says Stamp will be sponsoring us for the last week of each month and the 2nd week of each month respectively. We are lucky to have Bunny Zoe's Crafts sponsor us every other month too.
ALSO, the first saturday of each month is DT week, and a sponsor will normally be arranged by each member directly themselves, However, if you wish to sponsor a DT member then let me know and I'll find out if that member agrees.
I appreciate that this doesn't leave many weeks left that are free to book for sponsorship, but we are happy to book well in advance and have sponsorship arranged for upto 12 months ahead!
